Hwk 2/3: LINE & MARK-MAKING

Hwk 2/3: LINE & MARK-MAKING

Find 10 figurative images focusing on LINE (line quality) & MARK-MAKING. We are looking for CONTEXT for the study of the figure. This is research to help expand your own practice.

For each image posted below you must include the ARTIST NAME, TITLE (if available), DATE, MEDIUM (and/or process if applicable), & DIMENSIONS (if available)

Your POST must contain your name and include the 10 IMAGES with captions. These DO NOT all have to be drawn or painted: Feel free to think outside the box!

Look for examples of the following:

2 Expressive
2 Architectural/ Constructive
2 Alternative Artists
2 Non-Painting/ Drawing
2 Open Choice

  3. Oh sorry! Unfortunately you cannot post photos in the comment section, so you will need to create a new post. Go to your blogger homepage (click on the "B") and select or class blog. Then click on the pencil icon to "write a new post". Label the post "MARK-MAKING, ( LAST NAME ). Let me know if this doesn't work or you have other questions.

  4. I can't find what you are talking about to post the blog.

  5. Did you find the blogger homepage? And the class blog title? There should be a pencil icon or an orange "new post" button on that page. You simply click on one of these and start writing. The buttons at the top allow you to add images, links, etc. If NONE of this makes sense don't worry. Do your best to figure this out tonight and we will go over this first thing tomorrow.

  9. i'm still having trouble even finding the "B" that you showed us in class. no link is leading me to a part where i can get to a post sight or pencil icon. i do have my own personal blogger page, but i don't think that is what you want for this class. let me know if it would be acceptable and thanks.
