the taste of red

 I used pastels, a medium charcoal, and a small drawing book page for this image. Growing up, apples where always one of the constant treats I had and they are something that to this day I love. The taste of a Macintosh is something I can always remember if I just focus on it and red has always been a strong and effective tool for that. When I asked some friends what the color red brings to mind, the majority said apples as well so although there is no deep meaning to this drawing, it was the clearest idea I had.
