i did this drawing when the search for Malaysia Airlines flight 370 was lost and all that the news would show was the ocean without having more info. i used a small sketch book page and pastels. it was so aggravating that the news was latching on to this bit so hard that they would settle for empty shots of ocean rather than wait until actual news was available.
